Educational program : "The first Georgian school in Batumi"

1. Name of the program - "The first Georgian school in Batumi"

2. Program start year - 2023;

3. Target group - the program is intended for V-XII class students.

4. Subject - history, geography, Georgian language and literature;

5. Duration of the program - 60-90 minutes;

6. Place of the program - Ilia Chavchavadze Museum.

• Students will learn about Ilia Chavchavadze's greatest contribution in the history of Ajara.

• After the getting the information, students will be divided into two groups:

• 1. One group will make a presentation on an interesting biographical moment about Ilia Chavchavadze.

• 2. The second group will make a presentation about the contribution of Ilia Chavchavadze and Society for the Spreading of Literacy to Ajara

• Finally, the whole class will make a retrospection of the model of the "first Georgian school" preserved in the museum.

• The program is designed based on the interactive teaching method and includes work in the exhibition hall.
